about

An ancient tale of two Werewolves...

lyrics

LYRICS:

There once were two outlaws from eons ago

No honorable man would dare trust them

Vikings would speak of them throughout the ages

Many hearts fluttered when they heard the beast’s howls in the night

Fenriz’ children often nearby

Ferocious beasts with terrible strength that can rip a man to pieces

By Odin’s beard they were not trusted by any mortal Man

One faithful day they came across a luxurious home

They had many fine furs and trophies

It seemed abandoned

Sigmund and Sinfjötli so they’ve thought

Foolish for they not knew what was yet to come

The owners were steadily asleep at night when Sigmund and Sinfjötli noticed these two particular furs

It called out to them

Lusting for adventure the thieves stole the furs from the sleeping owners and dawned on the enchanted wolf furs

For 9 days they are werewolves and 1 day they transform back into humans

Sigmund and Sinfjötli put on the fur and immediately become werewolves

The pelt’s magic allows them to understand the wolf language

Sigmund and Sinfjötli make a pact to go their separate ways but only meet up when in dire need

One frightful day, Sigmund howls calling out to his son Sinfjötli for his aid to defeat 7 hunters

Later Sinfjötli gets attacked by 11 mighty hunters and the mighty beast kills all hunters himself

Sigmund finds him and asked him why he didn’t called out to him

Sinfjötli boasted about not needing help to defeat more than 7 humans

Sigmund in a fit of rage sinks his jaws into his son’s throat

With instant regret he regrets attacking his son for he is now limp

And the regret of stealing the wolf pelts kicks in

Sigmund returns to the house they raided to find it empty of the previous owners

He pleas to the Gods to heal his wounded son

Odin willing he heard his pleas and Sigmund finds weasels fighting and one runs to get a herb

Sigmund searches for the herb to no avail until one of Odin’s crows appears with the magic herb

Sigmund puts the herb on his son’s neck and he is instantly healed

On the tenth day the loving father and son vow not to do this again and became human again

They built a campfire and burn the werewolf pelts to ashes
